Aerial sound baths in Kent
Suspended in a silk hammock for the whole session, while gongs and singing bowls play around you. The only regular aerial sound bath in Kent — held monthly at Heavenly Fitness in Maidstone.

What makes an aerial sound bath different
In a regular sound bath, you lie on a mat. Gravity holds you to the floor, and most of your body stays in contact with something firm. In an aerial sound bath, you climb into a silk hammock that holds your whole body off the ground. The fabric supports you from every angle. You don't fight to relax — you can't.
The vibrations of the gongs and singing bowls move differently through the air around a suspended body. People often describe it as floating, or being cradled, or the closest thing to weightlessness they've experienced. Sceptics tend to be the most surprised.
There is, as far as we know, no other regular public aerial sound bath in Kent. If you've done a regular sound bath and want to know what the next level feels like, this is it.
What to know before you book
Where
Heavenly Fitness, Tovil, Maidstone ME15 6RR. Free parking on site. Roughly 5 minutes from Maidstone town centre.
How often
Roughly monthly. Dates released a few weeks ahead — see the events page or join the WhatsApp group for early notice.
Capacity
13 aerial hammock spaces and 6 zero-gravity chair spaces per session. Small enough to feel intimate, often sells out.
What to wear
Comfortable, warm clothing. Long sleeves and trousers recommended — bare skin against silk gets clammy quickly. No shoes in the hammock.
Two ways to attend
Aerial silk hammock
£30
The full experience — fully suspended in the silk hammock for the whole session. 13 places per session. If you can sit in a hammock comfortably, you can do this.
Zero-gravity chair
£25
Same room, same session, same gongs and bowls — without being suspended. A good option if hammocks aren't for you, or if you'd like to ease in before trying the hammock next time.
Who an aerial session isn't for
The hammock isn't suitable if you're pregnant, have severe claustrophobia, or have any condition where being suspended would be uncomfortable. The zero-gravity chair option is open to most adults but please flag any concerns when booking. We can also discuss whether a regular ground-level sound bath at Loose Parish Pavilion would be a better fit.
Book the next aerial session
Held monthly at Heavenly Fitness, Maidstone. Spaces are limited — booking ahead is recommended.
