Private sound therapy in Maidstone
One to one sound baths and sound massage in a quiet garden studio in Loose, or in your own home. Often described as a massage for the soul.
A private session is just you (or you and a partner), one practitioner and the instruments. You lie down fully clothed. Singing bowls, a frame drum and a monolina are placed on and around your body, so you feel the sound as well as hear it.
Many people report feeling deeply relaxed, and some fall asleep. You do not need to believe anything or have any experience. Just lie down and listen. Sessions are in Loose, Maidstone, or at your home within about an hour.

What a private session is like
- A short check-in. We talk about your health and how you are feeling, so the session can be adapted safely.
- Lie down, fully clothed. No oils, no changing. Bowls may rest on the body, and the frame drum is played just above it.
- Let the sound do the work. Research suggests slow, rhythmic sound may support relaxation. You might notice your breathing slow down or your mind quieten.
- Time to come back. Take a few minutes to settle, then talk through what you noticed.

Frequently asked questions
What happens in a private sound therapy session?
We start with a short check-in about how you are feeling and anything I should know about your health. You then lie down fully clothed while singing bowls, a frame drum or a monolina are played on and around you. Afterwards there is time to talk about what you noticed.
What should I wear?
Wear comfortable, loose clothing. You stay fully clothed throughout. There are no oils and no need to get changed. Blankets and pillows are not provided by default, so bring your own if you like to be wrapped up.
I have never tried sound therapy. Where should I start?
Most people begin with the Signature Introductory Experience. It includes a consultation, a full treatment and time to talk afterwards. You do not need any experience or any particular beliefs, just come as you are.
Can I fall asleep during the session?
Yes. Many people describe the session as deeply relaxing and some drift off. That is completely fine. Others stay awake and simply rest. There is no right way to experience it.
Do you offer home visits?
Yes. Home visits are available within about an hour of Maidstone, with travel added at cost: from +£20 within around 20 minutes, and quoted individually further afield. Just ask.
I have a health condition. Is sound therapy suitable for me?
Before every session there is a short arrival check-in so the session can be adapted safely. Please mention pregnancy, epilepsy, heart conditions or a pacemaker, recent injury or surgery, and PTSD or sound sensitivity when you get in touch. Sound therapy is not a replacement for medical care.
Can my partner and I book a private sound bath together?
Yes. A couples private sound bath is available from £90, and you both lie down in the same session. Get in touch to find a time that suits you both.
